Milton High School Swim Team

Please note that in previous seasons, we have used OSP to fund our participation fees required by the county. Fulton County has moved away from OSP to a new system titled SchoolPayments starting August 2026. Each swimmer will be responsible for a $50.00 participation fee to be paid directly to Milton High School after our Team Roster is announced on October 6th, 2026, following tryouts on October 5th. This is a notice of this change, and more information will be shared in our Information Meeting, as well as via Swimtopia emails/announcements moving forward. Thank you for your understanding!

What are the lettering requirements?

The coaches’ observations of athletes throughout the season will be the determining factor.

Must meet all four of the following:

1. Meet Attendance: Attendance at all meets is expected, this is a varsity sport.  You cannot miss a meet this season unless you have a doctors note or the coaches approve an excused absence. Email excuses to [email protected] for consideration.
2. Attend Practices and Team Functions:
   • Practices – Non year round swimmers may not miss more than 4 practices during the season. Year round swimmers must maintain a regular practice schedule with their coach during the season.
   • Team functions – You must attend ALL team functions during the season, unless for an approved absence. Email excuses to [email protected] for consideration.
3. If you qualify for the State Championship, you must attend.
4. Meet (1) of the following: Earn a state cut; earn a lettering time.

All active Seniors will be eligible to letter (based on participation and leadership skill.)
