Happy Friday Swimmers & Parents!

We had a GREAT turn out at tryouts last night. Excited to move forward for the 23-24 season with 23 swimmers! 

Included below is important information regarding the start of our season!

ALL SWIMMERS: Please submit your Physical/Eligibility information into RankOne, our Student Athletic data system, if you have not done so already. I will send separate instructions about this in an email to follow.

SWIM TEAM PAYMENT INFORMATION: In addition to your club fees/Swim Atlanta non-year round fees, a $500 booster fee and $50 OSP fee are collected at the beginning of the season. These fees help cover meet entry costs, uniforms, food for meets, etc. The booster fee will need to be paid by check only to: Milton Swim & Dive Booster. You can bring your check to the Team Dinner on October 19th (see below) or have your swimmer drop off a check to my office in Suite 1340 beginning on Monday. The OSP one-time fee can be made by credit/debit card at the following link: https://osp.osmsinc.com/p/EN706-731 Shout out to Mr. Thai for assisting our team as the MHS Swim & Dive Booster Treasurer! 

NON-YEAR-ROUND SWIMMER PRACTICE INFORMATION: If you swimmer is NOT currently participating with a year-round swim team, they will practice at Swim Atlanta Roswell with Coach Nelson Camacho. Practices start Monday, October 16th at 8:00 PM. Please register for Swim Atlanta practice this weekend by visiting www.swimatlanta.com. Top Right Corner click on "Swim Team Login" > Follow Steps as directed. The location is "Roswell" and group is "Milton High."

Practice schedule for non-year-round swimmers is as follows: 

Monday & Wednesday 8-9 PM

Tuesday & Thursday 4:30-5:30 PM

TENTATIVE MEET SCHEDULE:

October 27th - Cobb Time Trials, 6:00 PM @ Mountain View Aquatic Center, Marietta, GA

November 17th & 18th - McCallie Invite (Optional for all Swimmer) @ McCallie School in Chattanooga, TN

November 20th - Cambridge, Rivers and Milton, location TBA

December 9th - vs. Johns Creek @ Dynamo 

December 30th - New Years Eve Invite, location TBA

January 11th - Fulton County Championships @ Gwinnett Aquatic Center

January 20th - Metros

February 10th - State Meet @ Georgia Tech

For each meet the swimmers will leave from Milton on an FCS bus and will be dropped off at Milton afterward. Swimmer bus ridding to meets is not optional.

BIG SHOUT OUT to Mrs. Mikels and Mrs. Greene on assisting me in my transition into this role as head coach. I am so looking forward to this season, along with Coach Nelson!
